Southbar sits at 3703 Henderson Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609right in the middle of South Tampa. It's an easy landmark once you've been once — look for the room with every screen lit up and the sound turned on. The idea here is simple: sports early, live music and DJs late, all under one roof, so you don't have to pick a lane before you leave the house.
Every fan base is welcome. We're not a shrine to one team, and we don't mute the broadcast. If your school, your city or your league is playing something that matters, tell us and we'll do our best to have it up and audible. Plenty of people find us at kickoff and are still here when the band loads in.
Three things worth walking in for
- Big-screen sports with the sound on. The biggest matchups of the day go up on massive screens, and we keep the audio live so the room reacts together instead of reading a ticker.
- Live bands on the Southbar stage. When the final whistle blows, the gear comes out and a band takes the stage — the second half of the night, not an afterthought to the first.
- DJs running the room until 3AM. After the live set, our DJs keep it going late, which is how a Saturday afternoon here quietly turns into a Sunday morning.
Come for the game, stay for the music, and leave when the lights come on.
Bringing a group, a fan base or a birthday
Most of the messages we get are some version of "there's eight of us and we want to watch the game" — those are our favorite messages. Reach out ahead of time and let us know roughly how many people you're bringing, which game or which band you're coming for, and whether you want to be close to the screens or close to the stage. We'll tell you honestly what the room looks like that night and what we can hold for you.
